PSA Annual Conference, West Yellowstone: The PSA Annual Conference will be held in West Yellowstone, Montana from September 27 to October 3, 2015. If anyone has not booked a room yet for the conference, it will now be difficult to find one.

There will be 30 tours to Oxbow Bend, Yellowstone Canyon, West Thumb/Hayden Valley, Old Faithful/Geyser Basins, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Midway Geyser Basin.

Some of the speakers will include Art Wolfe, Mike Moates, Brian Peterson, and Roman Kurywczak.

PSA Projected Image Division (Second Round): The Projected Image Division (PID) Interclub Group B results were announced. Winning Best of Show was Holly Peskin with “Black Crowned Night Heron Nesting”.

Winning an Award was Diana Edgel’s “Lavender Yellow”. Winning Honorable Mentions were Kathy Newman’s “Garden Portrait” and Dwight Franke’s “Sadie”.

The Lancaster Photography Association tied for first place in the second round with 70 points. Clubs were from Belgium, Canada, England and the USA.

Manassas Warrenton Camera Club judged this round. There were 21 clubs competing and there were 126 images submitted. Also entered were Kurtiss Humphrey’s “CARMA 1” and Sue Liberto’s “Mountain Bluebird”. Congratulations to all.

Projected Image Division Creative (First Round): Results for the first round of the PSA Projected Image Division Creative first round Group A are the following: “Paisley Self Portrait” (Kathy Newman) and “Tikis and Beer” (Rock Myers) both won Awards. The Lancaster Photography Association is currently in third place.

Projected Image Division Creative (Second Round): Entries for the second round of the PSA Projected Image Division Creative Group A are the following: “Bottles Oil” (Rock Myers), “Candy Factory” (Bonnie Matthews), “Fractured” (Bill Sutton), “Dandelion 0430” (Nan Carder, EPSA), “Into the Wind” (Kathy Newman), and “Poultry 2” (Kurtiss Humphrey).

PSA Nature Division Interclub (Second Round): Results for the Nature Division Round two have been announced, and there were not any Awards or Honorable Mentions for the Lancaster Photography Association.

PSA Photojournalism Interclub (Second Round): Results are pending for the PSA Photojournalism Interclub second round.

PSA Photo Travel Interclub (Second Round): Entries for the PSA Photo Travel Division Interclub are the following: “Bryce” (Arliss Dawson), “Manzanar” (David Wilkins), “Meiyuan 0893” (Nan Carder, EPSA), “Peggy’s Clove” (Chris Wilkins), “Springtime in the Desert” (Sue Craft), and “Tibetan Women Commiserating” (Richard Wood).

PSA Journal: The PSA February Journal has recognized the Lancaster Photography Association in the Photo Travel Division article on page 45. LPA received a third place in round one and the article recognized Rock Myers and his image “Yosemite Falls” for winning an honorable mention.

PSA 365-Day Gallery for PSA Members: PSA's 365-day galleries officially began on January 1, 2015. Each PSA member is invited to submit up to one image per day, using the 365-day-upload form and following the assignment of the day. You do not have to submit every day in order to participate. We have provided daily assignments to keep the gallery inspired and interesting. For more information, please go to this web site.

PSA Coachella Valley Desert Camera Club: Entries remain open. There are two sections in the Projected Image Division Color General (Open/General and Scapes). There are two sections in the Projected Image Division Monochrome (Open/General and Human Made Objects). There are two sections in the Nature Division (Open/General and Wildlife). Southern California Roundup Chapter Event: On February 21, 2015, the PSA Southern California Chapter will have a photo event held at Descanso Gardens.
