Macro Photography Workshop, March 27, 2007

We had a large turnout of our membership and everyone brought their cameras and tripods along so they could participate in the workshop. Fred had brought in numerous items that were ideal for macro/close-up photography practice.  Helen Henry brought in some beautiful flower arrangements.

Fred began by explaining what macro is and had quite a few pointers on how to achieve good results.  Before everyone began practicing on their own, Fred suggested different camera settings to try so that the difference in the results would be clearly evident.

Between all the flowers, feathers and other small objects that were brought in for practice; no one had to wait for their turn.

Once everyone had plenty of time to practice their techniques, Fred projected their images and provided critiques on the results.

This was an informative and enjoyable workshop.  Thanks to Fred for putting this all together.
