LPA Shows at the Poppy Festival, April 21-22 2007

For the third year in a row, the LPA had a booth at the Lancaster Poppy Festival. Tens of thousands of people visit this annual two day festival. Once again, we were delighted to have a booth in the Fine Arts section.

At least 15 different LPA members displayed the best of their work, which made for an eye catching exhibit. Other members sold smaller items, such as postcards, note cards, and small matted prints.

This is the perfect opportunity to “share your work”, gain exposure, and learn from the best, as to how to market your photographs. We had novice to master photographers participating, and even new members just volunteering to help and be a part of the fun.

Lots of photo talk, idea sharing, hints, and help were available. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a few new faces at our next LPA event, as many people were inspired by our club, and interested in joining.
