Meeting & Competition, October 2007
Our 2007-2008 competition year started this evening, and there were 79 entries.
Our judges were Master photographers from our own club – Fred Griggs, Dennis Goodno, and Lyle Trusty. Each provided a critique of the photos.
Lyle Trusty explained how photos at S4C are judged and provided 3 separate scores, for impact, composition, and technical skills.
Recently added events include:
- October 20 – Field Trip to the Cal City Renaissance Faire led by Pat & Dale Ware
- October 21 – Action Photography Critique Session offered by Sue Craft
- LPA Field Trip to Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia
- Action Photography Critique Session
- December 18 – LPA Christmas Dinner to be organized by Marilyn Dalrymple. She’s going to need some help/volunteers so please sign up on the website.
December 18 – LPA Program to show slides of our past field trips. Please submit photos to sue@suecraftphotography.com

Over 58 people were in attendance including visitors. Jerry Henry won $37.50 at the 50/50 drawing.
