August 2009 Workshop - Panel Discussion
August 26, 2009 - For this month’s workshop, we decided to something different. A Panel Discussion for which Arley agreed to organize and moderate.

Though a few of us couldn’t make it because of the fair activities, etc., we still had a nice turnout.
The panel consisted of four of our top photographers; Sue Craft, Tylene Trout, Helen Henry and Lyle Trusty. Arley began by asking each panel member to tell us how they got started in photography. He then followed up with a number of questions for each of the panel, including; Why they chose the brand camera that they’re using, What memory cards they use, Each was asked to explain their workflow, How and how often they backup their files.
Before the subjects were changed, the attendees had a chance to ask questions of the panel and quite a few did just that.
It turned out to be a very interesting evening. It’s a shame we didn’t have more time to address all the issues that we would have liked.
Thanks to Arley for putting together and moderating an and interesting and enjoyable discussion.
