It was a festive evening, full of great food, good friends, and lots of holiday fun. Over 55 people were in attendance.

Christmas music filled the room, and members came dressed in holiday attire. The tables were covered in red, with Poinsettias, candle holders, and decorative Christmas trees, all for the raffle at the end of the evening. Soon the aroma of hot lasagna wafted throughout the air. Yum, yum!

Members assisted in shopping, baking the lasagnas, serving, decorating, and donating prizes for the raffle. Lasagna, corn, salad, rolls, punch, and deserts were plenty. Leftover unused lasagnas were donated to the Lancaster homeless shelter.

Lots of raffle prizes! Dave Arnold won over, and over and over again! He was quite lucky! Dave had half a table full of prizes, and ended up giving them all away to other members. The 50/50 pot had $129 in it, and Dave Anderson won $64 and donated it all back to the club.

We had a couple of surprise special guests. Former members Rene and Patty Caro have returned after being in Colorado for a few years. We were excited to see them back, and look forward to having them a part of the club again. Rene brought in some of his panoramic photos to share.

Our Holiday Photo Contest entries were all shared, and 1st place winners were awarded a Santa Hat and a Candy Cane. HM’s were awarded as well. The contest was judged by a panel of three, and scored the same as at S4C. Since it was “just for fun”, all entries may be re-entered in another LPA contest.

Thank you to the numerous volunteers who helped make the evening so enjoyable.
