City Seeking "Thursday Night on Square" Photos

 PALMDALE - The city is seeking photos of individuals, their families, and friends that were taken during past Thursday Night on the Square events for a special attraction that will be featured at this summer's festivities

Thousands of people attended Thursday Night on the Square during the past nine years, recreation supervisor Annie Pagliaro said.  "We're looking forward to displaying photos and shareing their memories of all the fun times at Poncitlan Square with a special attraction when Palmdale celebrates Thursday Night on the Square's 10th birthday this year."

The city is accepting photos via e-mail through its web site, www.cityofpalmdale.org.  Photos mailed or brought to the parks and recreation office will not be accepted.  No compensation will be provided for use of the photos and there is no guarantee that submitted photos will be used.

Eight Thursday Night on the Square celebrations are scheduled between July 1 and August 19, 2010.  For details, visit www.cityofpalmdale.org.
