PSA Report for November, 2013
PSA Annual Conference, Albuquerque, New Mexico: The Photographic Society of America’s Annual Conference for 2014 will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Watch for more information about this conference which will be held September 27 to October 3, 2014. Room rates for the conference hotel (Albuquerque Marriott on Louisiana Blvd.) will be $99/night. The Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) tied for second place overall in Group A for the 2012-2013 season. Participating this year were the following: Bruce Cable, Diane Cable, Nan Carder, Tina Crowe, Lee Garner, Helen Henry, Sharna Lee, Sue Liberto, Scott Shackelford, Dale Ware, Chris and David Wilkins.
PSA Photojournalism Division Interclub Year End: The Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) received a list of the 2012-2013 year end awards for the Photographic Society of America's Photojournalism (PJ) Interclub.
Congratulations go to Sue Liberto for winning first place in the open category with "Flying Cocker". Sue's award will be presented to her at one of the LPA club meetings.
Lancaster Photography Association was tied for second in the PJ Interclub Group A. The 2013-2014 PSA Interclub competitions started in October.
PSA Nature Interclub (First Round): There were no awards or honorable mentions.
PSA Projected Image Division Interclub (First Round): The LPA entries for the first round of the PSA Projected Image Division Interclub are the following: “Antelope Valley Poppies” Sue Craft, “Santa Barbara Pier 8516” Eugene Duley, “Persimmon” Anita Kratofil, “Neil Flag Face” Rock Myers, “Leaning Bristlecone Pine” David Wilkins, and “Getty Stairway” Ron Yagi.

German Mega Circuit: Bonnie Matthews, AS4C, did well at the recent German Mega Circuit. She had 20 acceptances (four images) in the Projected Image Division (PID) Monochrome and she also had seven acceptances (two images) in the PID Color.
CIPAE International Exhibition (Egypt): Bonnie Matthews had two acceptances in PID Color, and three acceptances in PID Monochrome.
9th Swansea International Exhibition: Bonnie Matthews had three PID Color, two PID Monochrome, and one Nature Division acceptances.
