“Travel Photography” by David & Christine Wilkins

[image1_left] Douglas Wade, our President, welcomed 48 LPA members & guests to our General Meeting and presentation on “Travel Photography” by David & Christine Wilkins.

LPA Members David and Christine, world travelers and exceptional photographers, shared their National Geographic-type images of Greenland and Africa. They offered logistical tips on how to make the experience more pleasurable, such as allowing extra travel time to adjust for time zones, airline choices and possible delays, vaccinations, and passport requirements. One great tip was that if you plan to go on photo trip to Africa, ask how many photographers the photo jeep accommodates. Photographers require a lot more space! We were entertained with stories of their colorful interactions with the indigenous people they encountered and greatly enjoyed the evening.
