The Business of Wedding Photography - August 21

[image1_left]On August 21st, at 6:00 p.m. at the AV Senior Center, the Lancaster Photography Association is honored to have James Tang, a Los Angeles wedding photographer come and give us a presentation on the Business of Wedding Photography.

James Tang is the Photographer/Owner of James Tang Photography. He describes himself as a full time professional hybrid wedding photographer.

The topics he will cover will include: A brief introduction to his background in art; his long successful career in Information Technology; how he started his business + Introduction to some of his digital and film gear and how he transitioned from part time to full time. He will also go into Lessons he has learned + Technical lessons - Shooting outdoor - Timing for each portion of a wedding - Timing for best light + Business lessons - how to stand out - how to build followers - how to setup a sustainable business model (Ferrari vs Walmart business structure). There will be a Q and A session at the end.
