AUGUST 27, 2024 - THE FUNDAMENTALS OF STUDIO FLASH PORTRAITURE
On August 27, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., Lancaster Photography Association presents our own members, Jerry and Kathi Venz, speaking about the studio photography and demonstrating the principles. This is a demonstration, so you do not need to bring your cameras. The workshop will be held at the Antelope Valley Senior Center at 777 West Jackman St., Lancaster, CA.
Jerry will talk about the basics of studio photography including: light placement and purpose, his philosophy of 3-D lighting, size of the main light and types of fill, mtering each light, establishing your studio ISO, aperture, shutter speed and lens choice.
Kathi will give you the tips and tricks they've 
learned over the years to make their subjects look good in front of the camera. This includes: slimming tricks for men and women, clothing suggestions, and posing, along with some camera tips to minimize subject anomalies.
