On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Antelope Valley Senior Center, LPA presents a workshop for our newer photographers, although we believe there will be things for all of us to learn!
Photography Best Practices will be presented by Kathy Newman and will be an overview of the process of photography. From conception (preparation for photo shoot) to completion (publishing/printing options), Kathy will cover camera/lens choices, memory cards, transferring photos, computers/software available, editing options, sizing for export/printing and other key subject matter.
Kathy was a newbie photographer fifteen years ago and remembers her confusion over crop sizing differences, color spaces, what lens to use, monitor calibration, what editing program and other topics that newer photographers struggle with. This workshop comes from her desire to give you a game plan to create great images.
