LOS ANGELES ZOO FIELD TRIP - NOVEMBER 14, 2026
On November 14, 2026, Lancaster Photography Association is heading to the LA Zoo! Join us at 10:00 a.m. just inside the entrance gates for a fun time!.
This is a great opportunity to learn about photographing animals in a more controlled setting and adapting to lighting and background issues. And just to hang out with fellow photographers in a supportive setting!
Our January competition theme is ANIMALS, so this will give us a few more photos to choose from when the time comes.
Get your ticket ONLINE or at the ticket booth when you get there.
Bring a medium to long range lens for the best closeup shots. There are several chimpanzee babies and an orangutan baby that are fun to capture, along with many other wonderful animal and bird subjects.
Don't forget water for hydration, a hat and sunscreen for sun protection, and extra battery/memory card just in case.
