SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2026
On Tuesday, November 17, 2026, Lancaster Photography Association is excited to have our own LPA member, Mauricio Rubi come and speak to us about his career in Sports Photography.
He will discuss his body of work, what it means to him to be a sport team media director and team photographer, as well as how to capture the best sports images in the moment. It will be a great learning time, and we look forward to seeing everyone there!
The meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Senior Center. This will be our only meeting this month (No workshop night).
About Mauricio: My name is Mauricio Rubi, and I am a U.S. Army Veteran. I served our country for over twenty years, including deployments to Iraq in 2002, 2004, 2008, and 2016. I am an award-winning, published professional photographer. I am the Antelope Valley Bulls' (ABA) full-time Medial Director and Team Photographer. I am also a Team Photographer for Antelope Valley Alta FC (USL One) and an independent Photojournalist for Antelope Valley College. I specialize in sports action, capturing the most memorable moments around the Antelope Valley. Serving our community is the utmost priority.
