We had seven attendees (our typical number) but we wandered off-topic a little so these notes will be short. I guess I'll have to go back to cracking the whip. :-)

Vivien gave me a card from a model train buff who wants some photography done. I'll have to contact this person, get some details, and see what we can do for him. If anyone has any experience and/or interest with photographing model trains then please let me know.

First, I'd like to thank Bonnie for taking notes for me on the 10th while I was in Redding with family.

This last Friday, the 14th, we had an even dozen attendees which almost matched the record of 13. Our table was so long, and I ended up left of center, that I missed half the conversations. It seemed that most of the guys were at the far end while I got to snuggle up with the gals. No complaints from me. But if this happens again I'll try to con someone at the other end of the table into taking notes for me so I can give a better representation of the many topics that are covered.

Seven of us incorrigible photographers gathered for an enjoyable evening of talk and food.

I started off by showing prints of some of my wildflower shots. Bonnie showed us some digital photos of her trip to Zion, Kolab, and other Utah locations, including some self-portraits. Her trip was extended two days because they got snowed in.

Discusson Group Notes March 27, 2009


Discussion Group

This meeting was the same, but different. We went back down to seven but to make up for it we went longer and covered more ground. Some of our usual suspects didn't show up but Tylene and Lyle made up for that. Make yourself comfortable, this is a long set of notes.

This was the second meeting at Denny's on K and 20th W and it worked out so well that we decided to make it permanent.
