FAIR CRITIQUE NIGHT - OCTOBER 24, 2023

By: Kathy Newman

On October 24, 2023, Lancaster Photography Association is having a workshop for those who entered the Antelope Valley Fair that just ended. The meeting is at 6:00 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Senior Center, 777 W. Jackman Street, Lancaster. We will also have it on Zoom.

We invite you to bring up to three prints that were entered in the fair or send via email up to 3 digital images that were entered (to kc_newman2001@yahoo.com).

We will have two of our judges go through the images and discuss what pros and cons your images have, and how you can improve for next year. This is of great benefit because it helps you to understand how the images are judged and how you can choose your entries for next year to be more successful.

The number of images from each person that will be critiqued will depend on how many people submit images, but we do want to make sure each person has at least 1-2 images addressed during the meeting.

Refreshments will be provided.
