PSA Annual Conference, Albuquerque, New Mexico: The PSA Conference was fun. There were many classes, workshops, tours, and programs to attend. Next year the PSA Annual Conference will be held in West Yellowstone, Montana from September 27, 2015 to October 3, 2015. Chris and David Wilkins did an excellent job of taking the minutes for the PJ Division (covering for Tina Crowe, PJ Division Secretary). PSA members attending the conference from the Lancaster Photography Association are the following: Anita Kratofil, Fran Marroquin, Bill and Leslie Sutton, David and Chris Wilkins, and Nan Carder.

PSA Projected Image Division (PID) Creative Interclub (Third Round):  Results are now available for the final 2013-2014 PSA Projected Image Division (Creative) Interclub competition. Congratulations go to Pat Ware (Abandoned) and Pam Vick (Sandbox Recipe) for winning awards in the final round. PSA Annual Conference, Albuquerque, New Mexico: The PSA Conference begins September 24, 2014. Members attending will be Anita Kratofil, Fran Marroquin, Bill and Leslie Sutton, Chris and David Wilkins, and Nan Carder.

PSA Photojournalism Quarterly Competition: Tina Crowe had an acceptance in the first round PJ Photojournalism Quarterly Competition with her image “Ready to Fly”. http://johnlarson.4t.com/Mar_2014/Html/sect_1.htm

Entries Are Now Open

The Ocean State International Exhibition is a photography competition that is held in Rhode Island. Anyone can enter this competition. Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) participates as a club. The top six LPA total scores will count towards a club high point. The cost is $5.00 to enter four images.

Individual awards are also given including medals and ribbons. There are also six Special Theme medals that will be given for (Best Nature, Best Landscape, Best Domestic Animal, Best Portrait, and Best Flower).

Entries are due by October 25, 2014. Image size will be 1024 (longest) x768 (tallest) with file size no greater than 800kb. Please ask Nan Carder questions if there are questions (email below).

Accepted show images will be published on the website, and shown at the Greater Lynn Photographic Association on December 15, 2014 and the Photographic Society of Rhode Island on December 16th.
