PSA Annual Conference, Portland, Maine: Only a couple more months before the PSA Annual Conference will begin. The dates are September 15th through September 21st 2013. There are many tours available from September 15th through September 17th. Classes and meetings begin on September 18th. Anita Kratofil will be attending this year.

The PSA website has a new look. Take a look at this web link: http://psa-photo.org/. There are over 1000 web pages on this web site, with many images to view.

Tina Crow entered the Hoylake International Exhibition in England. She received four acceptances. One acceptance was in the Projected Image Division, two were in the Nature Division, and one was in the Photojournalism Division.

In the July issue of the PSA Journal, it mentions Helen Henry earned her 1st Editorial Star. Nan Carder, EPSA earned her Projected Image Division 4th Star.

Helen Henry received an acceptance in the PSA Photojournalism Competition from the Best PJ Quarterly Images for 2012. Her image can be viewed at this web link. http://johnlarson.4t.com/Year_2012/Html/sect_1.htm.

If any LPA members belong to PSA, they can compete in the PSA Photojournalism Quarterly competition. There is no fee to participate.

PSA Projected Image Open Interclub Competition (Last Round): The final round of the PSA PID Interclub Competition results has been released. : Pam Vick (Hall of Time) won an award, and Arliss Dawson (Juvenile Night Heron Pair), Don Bennett (Give Me That Fish), and Dale Ware (Containers) won honorable mentions. The Lancaster Photography association was fourth place in this round, and was fifth place in the year end standings: Member’s images that were submitted this year belong to the following: Don Bennett, Jodi Champagne, Sue Craft, Tina Crowe, Arliss Dawson, Dwight Franke, Lee Garner, Helen Henry, Anita Kratofil, Sue Liberto, Tom Van Langenhoven, Pam Vick, Doug Wade, Dale Ware, Chris Wilkins, David Wilkins, and Ron Yagi. PSA Projected Image Open Interclub Competition (Third Round): The third round of the Photographic Society of America Projected Image Division (PID) entries was submitted to the PID interclub competition. Listed are the following Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) members and their images: Sue Liberto (Northern Pintail), Chris Wilkins (Two Cranes at Sunset), David Wilkins (South Georgia Salisbury Plain), Doug Wade (Sleeping Beauty), Pam Vick (Echevaria Blooms), and Tina Crowe (Winged Emerald).

PSA Projected Image Open Interclub Competition: Images entered in the January 2013 Projected Image Division are the following: Fort Pulaski (Chris Wilkins), Heavy Duty (Ron Yagi), Here Comes Minnie (Sue Liberto), Monklet (Jodi Champagne), Mono Lake at Night (David Wilkins), and Racing at Santa Anita (Helen Henry). There are no results.

PSA Nature Interclub (Second Round): Images entered in the January 2013 Nature Division are the following: Springbok (Bonnie Matthews), Barn Owl Take Off (Sue Liberto), Owl (Tina Crowe), Catch of the Day (Holly Peskin), Elephant Seal Clash (David Wilkins), King Penguin & Juvenile in Snow (Christine Wilkins). There are no results.

PSA Image Analysis Course: Sue Liberto has completed the PSA Image Analysis Course in two weeks. That must be an all-time record.
