We can meet at the West Avenue S Park and Ride (434 West Avenue S  in Palmdale) and leave at 6:30am for the 90 mile drive. I plan on taking 138 but if we have bad weather we will change that to the 14 and I have planned our time accordingly. Remember…February is our print competition month I have been talking about for the past couple of months and we would like to get our members to participate in this competition. The January competition will be remote judging with no Delegate or Board meetings. The next Delegate, Board and print competition will be February 9th. I would like to encourage LPA members to attend the next competition as a field trip (like we have done in the past). I will put this together after the holidays. Since there were only 4 exhibitors in the print competition during this past competition, we would like to get our members to participate in the February print competition. The print rules are on the S4C web site http://www.pcms-photo.org/s4c_entrants_homepage.html.

The second S4C Competition was held on November 10th  S4C in Riverside and the entries submitted were: A- Brent Bremer, Lee Garner, Wes Burcham, Cory Matthews and AA- Dwight Franke, Sue Craft,  Arliss Dawson, P. Dale Ware.  Dwight Franke received a HM with his image “Pass and Review.”

The third competition will open on Nov 17th and close on Dec 1st. The judging will take place on Dec 8th.  We are looking for good images to submit this competition year for both A and AA levels. December and January competitions are both going to be remote judging with no Delegate or Board meetings.

The next Delegate, Board and print competition will be February 9th. I was asked to encourage LPA members to attend the next competition as a field trip (like we have done in the past). I will try to put this together. Since there were only 4 exhibitors in the print competition this past weekend, I will try and push harder to get our members to participate in the February print competition. Since I have been offering to help our members and sent emails out to individuals with UEN’s, I have only received one request for help.
