Bill Kuhlemeier presented a second in a series of Photoshop "How To" sessions to over 30 members. This session was "The Power of Layers".
It was a "basic level" workshop to explain why layers are the fundamental building blocks of all Photoshop activities, and so important.

A big thank you goes out to Sue and Lyle for their outstanding workshop on action/motion photography. Their presentation and outline were very informative and easy to follow.
Action or motion photography can be quite tricky. By breaking it down step by step, they took a lot of the guesswork out of this type of photography.

This month’s workshop was presented by professional photographer, Tylene Trout and was geared towards beginning photographers, although even master photographers learned something new as well.
Master photographer, Lyle Trusty instructed a Panoramic Photo workshop which was very well attended (38 members). Lyle had many beautiful panoramic shots, which he printed, and brought in to inspire us. One of them was 80 inches long!
This was presented by Bill Kuhlemeier. Bill took us through the entire process of getting a picture from the camera, and all the basic steps involved in processing the picture and getting it ready to print.
We had almost 30 attendees show up for this event with many of them being the public, since they were invited to join us.
John Shedrick and Fred Frederickson organized the workshop which Dennis projected onto the screen from a video camera so everyone had a clear view.
We had at least 50 attendees show up with their cameras and tripods ready for an educational, hands-on evening of portrait photography.
Bob Lion and Lyle Trusty put a lot of effort into planning the evening, coordinating with the models, and setting up all the equipment. Of course, many of our members pitched in to help out.
We had a large turnout of our membership and everyone brought their cameras and tripods along so they could participate in the workshop. Fred had brought in numerous items that were ideal for macro/close-up photography practice. Helen Henry brought in some beautiful flower arrangements.
