Southern California Photography Conference 2012

The Lancaster Photography Association will be hosting the Southern California Photography Conference on June 16, 2012 at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in the Harley Davidson Building. This is a daylong “free” event (8:00AM to 5:30PM). We have many guest speakers and demonstrations lined up for the day. Our 1:00 PM keynote speaker is George Lepp, Canon Explorer of Light, with his program, “From Snowflakes to Gigascapes: Maximizing the Creative Power of Today’s DSLR’s.” It is going to be a fabulous day of photography lectures and demonstrations. Immediately following the Southern California Photo Conference the AV Fair Photo Mounting workshop will be held at the same location.

The Lancaster Photography Association is also hosting a free workshop on preparing and mounting your photographs for the Antelope Valley Fair. Early entry deadline is July 7, 2012. This annual event will be held in the Harley Davidson Building (Photography Exhibit building) immediately following the Southern California Photography Conference, at 6:00PM.

The workshop will cover the rules, online entry registration process, electronic image submission and photo mounting materials and procedures. This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in submitting an entry (electronic image or mounted print) for the Antelope Valley Fair Photography Exhibit.
