PSA Roundup, January 27, 2007

At the invitation of Dale Gilkinson, FPSA, Director of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) Region 10, Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) members provided  over forty pictures for display at the January 27th meeting of the PSA at the Public Library in Glendora, CA. Beautiful examples of their best work were set up prior to the meeting, then taken down at the conclusion of the day's programs by LPA volunteers.

The well attended meeting featured  "A Day With Don Gale ... Learn how to combine your love of the outdoors with the basic photographic techniques used by a professional photographer to record the wonders of nature from behind the lens". Don was a wedding photographer for over twenty years, and has transitioned to nature photography involving world travel to photograph landscapes, animals, birds, marine life, and etc,. Tamron, manufacturer of a popular and economical line of after market lenses for all the major brands of cameras sponsors Don in his travel and lecture series.
