It was another blustery, well actually wind rippin’ day in the Antelope Valley, and 23 LPA members got to escape and go to Descanso Gardens to photograph flowers, with… no wind!
The day was absolutely perfect for photography, as the sky was quite overcast, and it was like having one great big diffuser overhead.
The Tulips were amazing, and members were there with their telephoto lenses, macro lenses, flash setups, etc… and many down low on the ground, looking for that unique shot.
Thank you to John Shedrick for leading a great field trip, which started at Carrow’s for breakfast, and then to Descanso gardens, where everyone had a chance to practice what they learned at the Flower Photography workshop last month.
Expect to see some great entries in the Flower Division at the AV Fair this year!
Members wishing to display some of their shots can forward them to Arley Clark (firstname.lastname@example.org). Try to keep the quantity down to about 3 of your best. Space is limited depending on how many we get.
