Time to celebrate! The Friends of the Senior Center (FOTC) decided to have a party in honor of their 30th Anniversary as a non-profit organization. Of course… they wanted it to be photographed! Sue Liberto, Holly Peskin, and I teamed up to make their wish come true.
The room was transformed, filled with holiday decorations, candle lit tables, and the air filled with holiday music. The center was packed with many dressed up in their holiday attire. Members of the FOTC treated guests to a hand delivered lunch plate followed a scrumptious piece of cake.
The FOTC provided a winter scene backdrop and balloons, and we brought fun accessories such as garland, ornaments, and a big 30. The fun props seemed to put the seniors at ease and they had so much fun posing! They were so excited to have their photos taken and loved seeing their photo pop up on the back of a digital camera. They were very thankful! It was a pleasure to photograph.
Other Senior Center photo ops this month included photographing the Senior Winter Ball, and videotaping the Happy Singers. They’ll be looking for volunteer photographers for the Black History Celebration in February. If you are interested in photographing an event for them, please contact me email@example.com.
