PSA Study Groups: Sue Liberto and Bill Sutton have enrolled in one of PSA Study Groups. This activity is where a small group of photographers submit images for critiquing. This is a nice way to learn how other photographers evaluate the participant’s image, and nice way to learn how to critique other PSA member’s images. Everyone submits an image monthly.

George Glennie Nature Salon: Every member should get their best nature shot ready. LPA will participate in the 33rd George Glennie Nature Competition for the fourth year. LPA Members images are due by February 21, 2013. LPA members judging will be February 21 to March 1. LPA entries are due on March 8, 2013. More information can be found on the LPA website home page.

Coachella Valley Camera Club Exhibition: The PSA Coachella Valley Desert Camera Club’s International Exhibition will have a closing date of February 16, 2013. There are two digital Divisions offered. Participants may enter in both of these Divisions. The new Projected Image Division will have two sections: Color Class General and Monochrome Class, which are judged pictorially. There will also be two sections in the Nature Division offered: General and Wildlife. The judging will be held on March 2/3, 2013. The cost is $7/section. All acceptances will count towards PSA Division Stars. More information can be found at this web site: http://www.cvdcc.org/exhibitions/
