PSA Annual Conference, Portland, Maine: The dates this year for the PSA Annual Conference are September 15th through September 21st 2013. There are many tours available from September 15th through September 17th. Classes and meetings begin on September 18th. Please take a look at this website: for more information.

PSA Projected Image Open Interclub Competition (Last Round): The final round of the PSA PID Interclub Competition entries is the following: Arliss Dawson (Juvenile Night Heron Pair), Don Bennett (Give Me That Fish), Pam Vick (Hall of Time), Dwight Franke (Valley of Fire), Helen Henry (Bleeding Heart Vortex), and Dale Ware (Containers). Results are pending.

PSA Projected Image Division Creative Interclub Competition (Third Round): The results have been posted for the third round. Congratulations to Ron Yagi and New York, NY, Vegas Night for winning an Honorable Mention. His image may be seen at this LPA link:

PSA Nature Interclub Competition (3rd/Last Round): Congratulations to Arliss Dawson (Juvenile Night Heron Pair) who won an Award with a perfect score of 15 for the final round of the PSA Nature Interclub competition. Tina Crowe (Injured Anna’s Hummingbird) and Marv Brimer (Long Billed Curlew with Lunch) both won Honorable Mentions. The Lancaster Photography Association was second in the competition (Class B) and second overall for the year with forty-four clubs competing. Many thanks to the following LPA members who helped LPA have a great year: Don Bennett, Marv Brimer, Bruce Cable, Tina Crowe, Arliss Dawson, Diana Edgel, Helen Henry, Sue Liberto, Bonnie Matthews, Holly Peskin, Dale Ware, Chris Wilkins, and David Wilkins.

PSA Photojournalism Division Interclub Competition (Third Round): The third round entries for the Lancaster Photography Association for the PSA Photojournalism Division Interclub: David Wilkins (The Finish Sprint), Sue Liberto (Flying Cocker), Bruce Cable (Helicopter Water Drop), Helen Henry (Racing at Santa Anita), Nan Carder (Bubble Girl), and Tina Crowe (BMX Biker 2).

The PSA Youth Photography Showcase entries have been submitted. Schools participating this year are the following: AV Virtual Academy, Highland High School, Knight High School, Palmdale High School, and Quartz Hill High School. The students and their instructors did another great job getting their images ready. Thanks again to Tina Crowe for her assistance. Results will be released soon.

Bonnie Matthews had an acceptance in the PSA San Joaquin Valley International Exhibition.
