PSA Annual Conference, Albuquerque, New Mexico: The Photographic Society of America’s Annual Conference for 2014 will be in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The conference dates are September 27 to October 3, 2014. Conference registration remains open with the early bird fee until July 31, 2014.

The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta begins Saturday, October 4th. Tour three is already filled.

PSA Projected Image Division Interclub (Fourth Round): PSA Projected Image Division Interclub (Fourth Round):  The results of the final Projected Image Division (PID) Interclub rounds were announced. Nan Carder, EPSA, received an Award with “Brown Bear 5900” and Bonnie Matthews received an Honorable Mention with “Briana’s Desire”. Other members participating in this round were the following: Helen Henry, Sue Liberto, Pam Vick, and Dale Ware,

The Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) earned second place in the last PID round for this competition season. Twenty-one clubs competed in Group B. Considering LPA was ranked 20th after the first round, LPA ended the season tied for fifth place for the competition year.

Congratulations to all LPA members that had images submitted this year: Sue Craft, Ed Duley, Helen Henry, Anita Kratofil, Sue Liberto, Bonnie Matthews, Rock Myers, Holly Peskin, Bill Sutton, Alex Venz, Pam Vick, Doug Wade, Dale Ware, Chris Wilkins, David Wilkins, Ron Yagi, and Nan Carder

PSA Nature Interclub (First Round): The PSA Nature Interclub competition for 2014-2015 will open in October.

PSA Photojournalism Division Interclub (Fourth Round): The final PJ Interclub competition entries were submitted. Results are pending.

PSA Travel Division Interclub (First Round): Travel Interclub will begin in the fall of 2014.

PSA Projected Image Division (PID) Creative Interclub (Third Round):  Results are pending.

PSA Youth Photography Showcase:
Alec Talian’s image “Warriors of the East” was changed from third place to second place. He will receive an award of $50 as will Thea Johansen.
