PSA Annual Conference, Albuquerque, New Mexico: The PSA Conference begins September 24, 2014. Members attending will be Anita Kratofil, Fran Marroquin, Bill and Leslie Sutton, Chris and David Wilkins, and Nan Carder.

PSA Projected Image Division (PID) Creative Interclub (Third Round):  Results are pending.

PSA Photojournalism Quarterly Competition: Tina Crowe had an acceptance in the first round PJ Photojournalism Quarterly Competition with her image “Ready to Fly”.

PSA MAC- The PSA Mid Atlantic Chapter is having their First Annual National Cup Competition. Entries will close November 1st. There will be four sections. Trophies and medals will be given, plus 80 HM ribbons. This is not a PSA recognized exhibition. More information can be found at this web link. 

PSA Newsletter Contest: The results of the PSA Newsletter Contest have been released. Terri Garner has been the LPA Newsletter Editor for the past three years and has done a wonderful job. This year, LPA tied for Best Calendar Presentation, and David Wilkin’s article “Long Exposure Noise: What it is and Does it Matter” tied for Best Technical Article. Thank you Terri.

PSA International Exhibition: Four LPA members participated in this year’s PSA International Exhibition. Some of these accepted images will be exhibited at the PSA annual conference this year. Diana Edgel, Bill Sutton, Dale Ware, and Nan Carder participated.  Diana Edgel received an HM for her image “Tuff Love”.

Club Service Award: Thank you Sue Craft for working hard to submit the proposal for the Lancaster Photography Association for the PSA Club Service Award. LPA earned the award in 2011 and can apply every three years. Endorsing LPA are Holly Peskin and David Wilkins. Many LPA members donate their time for many services in our community. PSA recognizes and rewards clubs who help their communities.

Ocean State International Exhibition: Entries for this year’s Ocean States International Exhibition will close October 25th this year. Anyone may enter. More information will be posted when available.
