Creating Abstract Photography inside the Camera and in Post Processing - May 23rd, 2017

Shirl Airov-Bieling will be giving a workshop on Abstract photography at the Senior Center in Lancaster from 6-8PM, Tuesday, May 23rd . Kathy Newman will also be a guest speaker.

Shirl Airov Bieling is rather new at photography, but she has won many awards, including awards for her abstract photos. This is because she is not new to the fine art world. She has been a fine art artist most of her life. When she lived on Long Island in New York, she won a lot of recognition for her work. She also exhibited in shows and galleries in East Hampton and elsewhere. Because of her background, she has had great success creating her abstract photography using many techniques.

Abstract photography can be created by taking pictures of objects in a way to produce an abstract photo. Abstracts can also be produced in the post processing procedures using Photoshop. Shirl will show many techniques so all of you can explore and have fun producing your own masterpieces.
