Bob will provide handouts and applications for the program with in-depth details about the process and requirements. Learn about Park Service expectations, grants, housing, and how this prestigious program can benefit your art photography career while enhancing the pubic’s understanding our national parks through art.
Bob will also present information about National Park Photographic Expedition Workshops with information and examples that define the differences between Landscape Art, Documentary Landscapes, and the great American Postcard. Take a deep dive into the magic of workflow previsualization — from camera to post — learn how artists create bodies of work by defining Landscape Thematics. Bob will also share valuable insights about the four dominant landscape scenes and how to master them through composition and a visual voice that is unique— your own.
Bob Killen is a National Park Service Artist-in-Residence, Adobe Certified Instructor, Adobe Certified Expert, Director of Mojave National Preserve Artists Foundation, and Director of National Park Service Photographic Expeditions programs, and a nationally recognized landscape art photographer.
