Sierra Fall Colors Trip for October 19-21, 2018
[image1_left]The fall colors should be looking great in Bishop and the surrounding areas this time of year. I am planning a 3 day trip for photographers, family and friends. There is plenty to do in Bishop even if you are not a photographer. Bishop has many hotels and restaurants and a Casino, Laws Railroad Museum and is a great base camp for the start of the trip.
[image2_right]The first day of the trip starts in Bishop on Friday the 19th and we will gradually move on up into the high country looking for fall colors. We can all meet up at the Carl's Jr. in Bishop at noon on the 19th. On Saturday October 20th, the second day of the trip, we will head to Bodie. It would be great to get a special early morning visit to Bodie, I am currently working and that and will update you if we can get a special early morning start time. If we can’t get into Bodie early we will meet up at the entrance at 11:00 am. The Final day of the trip we will be taking early morning sunrise pics at Mono Lake. If you can’t make it at sunrise, there is plenty to photograph later during the day. This should be a great trip to get some outstanding fall color images.
You will be responsible for arranging your own accommodations, so please plan ahead. Fall color season is a busy time up there!
