Star Trails with David Wilkins - April 25, 2023

On April 25, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., Lancaster Photography Association will be having member, David Wilkins, speak to us about star trail photography at Antelope Valley Senior Center.

This workshop will cover how to take and process images to make a star trail.  The stars appear to move during the night, when actually it is the earth that moves.  Learn the secrets to making a star trail that centers around the North star.  How to deal with the artifacts that show up in star shots such as airplane lights, satellite reflections and meteors, will be covered.  The workshop will go into the equipment needed and locations to capture star trails.  Basic processing to build a star trail will be covered.
