MACRO WORKSHOP - JUNE 25, 2024

On June 25, 2024, Lancaster Photography Association will be having a hands-on workshop for Macro Photography. Our July Competition is a Macro Competition, so this will give you some options, if you have not already done macro photography.

We will meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Senior Centerl.

We will have a short presentation about Macro Photography by Kathy Newman, and then spend the rest of our time photographing small objects. Bring objects to share, such as: Flowers or plants, fruit, feathers, coins, soap bubbles, watch parts, computer parts, tools, etc.

We will have some constant lighting and small backdrops available (cloth, paper, foamboard).

Bring your cameras! If you have accessories such as teleconverters, extenson tubes, tripods, flashes or constant lights (Lumecube, LED panels), or a light tent, bring them. 

We will just have fun experimenting with our subjects and lighting to get the optimal images.
