Basic Photoraphy Workshop, Feb. 22, 2005

This month we started off our Advanced Digital Workshop with a refresher course on basic photography presented by Lyle Trusty, one of our more experienced photographers.

17 members joined in to get up to speed before the jumping  into digital photography workshop next month.

Lyle presented an explanation on aperture and shutter speed operation with its various uses.

Other topics were covered as needed to explain the many different modes and scenarios a photographer would find himself in.

Members who were not familiar enough or confident enough to operate there camera got a one on one with Lyle to help them get up to speed.

At the end of the meeting, Lyle presented a film on photographing nature in the wild. .

If you missed this workshop, you missed an opportunity.

The LPA would like to thank Lyle for a very informative lecture.

It's members like this that make the club what it is today.

As a side note, we signed our 92nd member today. The club is now the largest it has ever been.
