December 2006 Meeting

Over 41 people attended our meeting.  We had a couple of visitors, one of which is ready to turn 100 years old!  Joshua Robison 14 years old joined LPA tonight and is now our youngest member.  His Grandpa, Gary, was the lucky winner of the 50/50 drawing and won $70.50.

Lyle Trusty chaired the Salon Show, and Master photographers brought in their finest framed photos to share.

 

The S4C Best of Year Digital Show was shown, and we were inspired by the beautiful photos.  LPA members are encouraged to submit photos to S4C.

A wonderful holiday spread, full of goodies, was set up by Monika Lowe.  Other members brought items to share as well.

 

Afterwards, Dean Webb presented a slide show, commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the LPA (click here).  Long time club members enjoyed reminiscing, and newer members enjoyed seeing the “old timers” in their younger days, and learning a bit about the history of the LPA.
