February 2007 Meeting & Competition
What a great turnout! Over 50 people and many new visitors attended this evening, for competition night.
The theme was “Things You Love”. Entries ranged from things you love to eat/drink, to people, pets, places, and sights that make you happy.
Our judge for the competition was June Hughes, from S4C. June’s knowledge and critique of each photo was right on. June is approaching her 90th birthday!
One of our newer members, Helen Henry, took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Novice print category.
She’s been taking photography lessons from Master Photographer Tylene Trout. Congratulations to both teacher and student.
Dennis Goodno, our President, was the lucky winner of the 50/50 drawing. Kyle, a new member who just joined tonight, went home with a “free” HP printer.
Vic Pesce won Adobe CS2 software. Thank you to Fred Frederickson for donating so many nice items for raffle prizes.
