Marilyn Dalrymple Exhibit
PLPA Member Marilyn Dalrymple, ARPS, with two of her fine art photography images on display at the Palmdale Playhouse.
Her Exhibit, Eclectic-ricity will run from May 22nd to June 23rd, 2008. A special artist’s reception at the Playhouse on Thursday May 22nd was well attended by the public, fellow members of LPA, and friends from LMAG Associates. Light refreshments, and a musical performance by Joan Enguita, a nationally recognized composer, singer and guitar player was enjoyed by all.Marilyn’s parents emigrated from Canada to Northern California when she was only four years old. She subsequently settled in the Antelope Valley in 1970. She has been active in several valley organizations, enjoying writing, photography, and furthering her education.
Marilyn has completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, and is contemplating continuing on to earn a master’s degree in humanities. She is currently writing a series of children’s books with loveable characters drawn from collages created by people she has met and known.
The ARPS after her name denotes that she has earned the Associate Distinction in photography from the Royal Photographic Society, the second of three. The first distinction is the Licentiateship.
