Over 50 people attended our meeting, including 6 visitors.

The evening began with our general meeting, followed by the Installation of Officers for 08-09, by Dennis Goodno.  Your new board members are Dave Anderson (President), Sue Craft (Vice President), Sharon Martinez (Secretary), and Nan Carder (Treasurer).

 

Shiny blue trophies awaited those who won the year end competitions in each division.  After viewing all of the first place winners for the 07-08 competition year, members got to vote on their favorites, and choose the winners.  Congratulations to all!

Marilyn Dalrymple presented a program on the famous husband and wife team, Osa and Martin Johnson.  The two led safaris through Africa in the early 1900’s while filming and photographing strange and exotic places.  It was a fascinating adventure.
