Clark Court – 4pm - Led by Sue Craft & Faith W

Sign up Below

Lancaster’s own Clark Court is one of the best places in the AV to photograph Christmas lights. The entire cul-de-sac provides quite the show! Meet at 4pm at the N end of the cul-de-sac and we’ll share tips on how to photograph holiday lights, and even try some artistic effects. A map of other “must see” holiday stops in the area will be provided. Bring your tripod if you have one. Afterwards, we’ll make our way to photograph the holiday decorations and happenings on Lancaster Blvd, and end up at King’s Photo, the Friday night discussion group location at approximately 630pm.

Sunset is due at 4:41pm with twilight ending around 5:10pm. This will give us plenty of time to try and get some great “sweet spot” shots where the sky magically appears royal blue and balances the holiday lights in your shots.

Clark Court, the initial meeting spot, is located 1 block W of 27th St W, and just South of Ave J-8. A map link will be on the LPA website. Please sign up on the website, so that you can be notified of any updates, and maybe even more handy hints!
