PSA Galleries: One of the benefits of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) is having an individual gallery on the PSA-member website galleries. One gallery is the PSA Southern California Roundup Chapter gallery. Many of our Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) members who are PSA members have created galleries. Anyone can see what these LPA members are doing, and they also can see some of their photography work.
Please take a look at these LPA member galleries on the PSA Chapter website, and check out their work: Shirl Airov-Bieling, Nan Carder, EPSA, Darren Cole, Sue Craft, Sue Liberto, Rock Myers, Kathy Newman, Ramon Rosario, Scott Shackelford, Leslie Sutton, Bill Sutton, Chris Wilkins, and David Wilkins.
These galleries can be updated at any time.

PSA Service: Chris Wilkins volunteers again! Besides Chris volunteering for the Membership Milestone Program Director position, Chris has also volunteered to become one of the PSA Exhibition Standards Directors. She will receive applications from organizations from the Balkans requesting PSA-recognition for their exhibition. All organizations that receive approval for PSA-recognized exhibitions agree to conform to the PSA Exhibition Standards. Thank you, Chris, for your service.
PSA International Exhibitions:
PSA International Exhibition 2015: Congratulations go to Shirl Airov-Bieling for entering the PSA International Exhibition and receiving two acceptances (PID Color-Yellow Poppy and Monochrome 2 Mimosa). Accepted images will be shown at the PSA annual conference in Yellowstone. This is one of the largest international exhibitions for 2015. Over 500 photographers participated in the Projected Image Division (PID) competition. There were 1951 images entered in PID Color with 597 acceptances and there were 1563 images entered in PID Monochrome with 468 acceptances. There were exhibitors from 47 countries participating in this one division’s competition.
All of the PSA catalogs from all of the divisions are now on-line: http://www.psa-photo.org/psa-international/
LPA Members in the PSA Journal:
Check out the September issue of the PSA Journal. The PSA Youth Photography Showcase article has all of the winners for the PSA Youth Photography Showcase. Crystal Han and Madison Gale’s winning image (from Highland High School) are featured. There are also images from Lauren Devine (Quartz Hill High School) and Randy Rivera (AV Virtual Academy) in this issue of the journal. Congratulations to all of the Antelope Valley youth who participated in this activity.
There is a nice write-up for the Ollie Fife International Exhibition. Scott Shackelford was mentioned receiving an Honorable Mention. Scott was also listed as having completed the Image Analysis Course.
All courses are free for PSA members. PSA is always looking for PSA members to educate and mentor PSA members.
