This offer goes out to all LPA members and no one else. If you want this printer and are not a members, become one.
I've got a printer I'm going to get rid of. It's the Canon ipf5000. I've had it about 2 years and used it very little. Maybe 30 or 40 large prints. Comes with paper tray, roller, and three rolls of paper. I don't do much printing and this is really more than I need. I have another 13 inch printer that gets more use and the Canon just sits and takes up space. The Canon prints 17 in. wide on a roll. As far as I know it still works. Last time I printed with it was about a year ago. It's free to any club members who wants it.
Id put it on EBay but there would end up being a big headache shipping so I'm just going to dump it.
Anyone interested will need to pick it up and will need either a trailer, SUV or pickup. Its pretty big.
This is a good deal for anyone that does a lot of printing. Holds 12 ink tanks. A set of tanks run about $900. Presently I think the lowest one is 3/4 full but they are pretty big and hold a lot of ink.
If I get too many wanting this, Ill have to figure some way to come up with a lottery. It will be given away at the next general meeting. Leave a message here to get on the list before the meeting. I'll also be creating a list at the meeting but if you sign up here, Ill give you 20 extra points once I figure out how I'm going to do this. It will be number based.
Hi Arley, My husband totally agrees with me that he wants to be in the lotto for this printer. Yes, and he totally agreed when he was signed up as a member. So please add Jerry Henry to your list. Thanks Helen Henry
You must have a drivers license (DL) to be included in this lottery. If you don't have a drivers license, you may use someone in your immediate family who is a member (Immediate = husband/wife or dependent child). Live-ins don't count.
Your DL number will be how we determine who will win. Issuing State doesn't matter.
Here's how it works. Take each number of your license number and add it to the preceding number ( Example: Number is 1234567, so you would add 1+2+3+4+5+6+7) to come up with a total. That total is your lottery number. Highest number wins. Members only, who have signed up here should add 20 to the calculated number. Letters in your number do not count.
DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR NUMBER HERE !!!
Other members will be told about this printer at the general meeting so they can get their name on the lottery list. Members will submit their name and calculated number in the early part of the evening and the winner will be announced toward end.
You must be on the LPA membership list to qualify so you might check the membership list in the password section to make sure.
In the event of a tie, we will use your membership listed phone number (10 numbers, including area code) under the same calculation method as the DL without the 20 points.
Winner will need to show their license so we can verify the total.
You need to be present to win or have a member reprehensive there. If not then the printer will be given to the next lowest number.
I will have the printer at the meeting tomorrow so you should be prepared to take it that night. It will fit in the back seat of a medium sized car in most cases but you should not tip it as that my cause the ink to spill out of the cartridges.
Thanks for the great help and support, Arley! Please put my name as your list for "Free to good home (Canon IPF5000 Printer)"! It seems like you get a very good responses for this perticular issue during the economy situation today. Thanks for your donation to add on the X'mas party and make it more active for the association! Great respect! nola
