Here’s how it works:

  1. Upload your 10 favorite JPEG images (PG13 please) to the LPA website. The deadline for the upload to the website is August 22nd..

  2. On August 26th, enjoy an ice cream sundae with your fellow members and watch the slide show of our members photos.

  3. When your images are presented, you can comment on them talking about where they were taken or how they were shot. If you don’t want to comment, that’s OK. We’ll just show the images for everyone to enjoy.

We all look forward to seeing and hearing about your images. Don’t be bashful; even if you’re a novice, we’d love to see what you created. It’s not intended to be a critique event…just a fun evening amongst us photogs.

Yosemite Field Trip, Dec 2-5 2014

Archives

Join LPA for a late autumn trip to Yosemite commencing Tuesday, December 2 and ending Friday, December 5.  We plan to photograph early and late and very late (think star trails) from Tunnel View, Valley View and the bridges, meadows and waterfalls.  With luck there might be some snow.  (Caltrans requires that you carry chains.)  Accommodations within Yosemite Valley are available at Yosemite Lodge At The Falls and the Ahwahnee (historically very expensive).  We’ll probably plan a lunch there for the ambiance and the inside photographs (distinctive chandeliers!).  Other meals can be taken at the food court or the Mountain Broiler Dining Room.

Please sign up below if you'd like to attend.
