My Feeling About Photography

Member Articles

By Lori Stoll

My feeling is that a camera is just a box to hold the film until you're ready to let the light hit it, and that it is not the camera that takes the photo but the person behind the camera. Before you expose your film you should know what the exposed film will look like or at least know what you want your image to like like, what your trying for. What you are trying to share with the viewer.

Shoot lots of film!!!!!  Don't worry if a shot is not exactly what you had in mind -
just go back and try again.

Sometimes mistakes are the best surprises !!!!!

I asked Zach (my 6 year old) if he wanted to be a photographer once he. He said no because you can't take pictures of what you want !!!!
