Night Photography Field Trip August 19

[image1_left]Join the LPA for a field trip on a hot August night, Saturday, August 19. Dale Taft will lead a night photography field trip at Red Rock Canyon.

[image2_right]Participants will meet at Denny’s in Mojave at 5:30pm and caravan to Red Rock Canyon Campground to photograph the Milky Way and star trails. Day use fee at Red Rock Canyon is $6 per vehicle at the campground. Sunset is at 7:38pm and complete darkness about 9:15pm. Photography will continue until everyone gets tired of shooting.

Recommended equipment is:

• Remote shutter release
• Head lamp (with red light)
• Tripod
