INDIAN MUSEUM FIELD TRIP - January 26, 2019

[image1_left]LPA is hosting a field trip to the Antelope Valley Indian Museum on January 26, 2019. We will meet in front of the Museum at 11:00 for a group photo and then head off to explore the buildings and environs. Cost is $3.00 per adult (cash and checks only). It should be a fun time. The address is: 15701 E Ave M, Lancaster, CA 93535.

The Indian Museum is a unique and eclectic folk art structure located on the far east side of Lancaster. The museum houses objects created by the American Indian cultures of the western Great Basin, California and the Southwest. There are trails around the museum with interesting rocky desert landscape and vistas as well.

[image2_right]Just up the road on 150th St. East is Club Ed, a popular movie and TV set, which is only photographable from the road, but is interesting to stop and see nonetheless. Check it out on your way to or from the Museum.
