Yosemite Field Trip - October 21-23, 2022

Tom Jordan has volunteered to lead an LPA field trip to Yosemite National Park to capture fall colors. We plan on going Friday October 21st and return home Sunday October 23rd.

Please let Tom know if you would like to join this LPA Field Trip. He chose this weekend is to not conflict with the EAFB Air Show, or the day of the dead festival, and other outings that might be planned.

He suggests booking a room at the Cedar Lodge in El Portal which is only a 12-minute drive to the Arch Rock entrance of Yosemite. The prices inside the park are quite high and El Portal is a less pricey option, as it is close to the entrance. If you want to attend, he strongly suggests you book your room now as you can always cancel. There are a couple other motels in El Portal or Incline you may want to consider or stay in the park if you have deep pockets!
