In celebration of the Death Valley Furnace Creek Visitor Center Grand Re-Opening on November 3-4, 2012 the famous 20-Mule Team will be brought out of retirement. There will be a demonstration drive from Harmony Borax Works to Furnace Creek on both days. They do not bring the 20-Mule Team to Death Valley often, so this is a chance to see and photograph the mule team and wagons in operation. This may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph the 20-Mule Team in Death Valley.
