Help folks,

Yesterday, I got a call from my college Freshman son who enrolled in a Photography course at CSUN. He was told he could do the course with a point and shoot and I donated mine to the cause, but that was old info. Now the Professor is requiring a DSLR. Not sure what the minimum MP's are yet (but figuring in the 8-10 range) and I need my DSLR for the up coming school sports season. I'm primarily looking for a Canon because I have alot of the equipment and glass that he can use in a pinch, but I (nor he) are brand prejudiced.

Does anyone have a DSLR and/or lenses they are looking to sell to a soon-to-be starving student? (I know Arly, I missed your fire sale by a couple months!)

PS: Sorry that I have not made it to any of the meetings lately, I had back surgery and it has taken me offline for quite awhile.

I ended up buying him a Canon XS on Ebay. Decent deal and I get my back patio and eves stripped, primed, and painted in return.
