I know it's very short notice but does anyone have a Canon 24-70 2.8 that I can borrow or rent for a shoot Friday (3/25) afternoon and return Saturday?
Here's the situation. I have a quincenera shoot at the Nethercutt Car Museum and a banquet hall in Sylmar on Friday starting at 2pm. I did a walk thru and realized my fast 50 prime is not gonna work and the fast 11-16 is too wide for some of the shots I want. Mostly due to the car positions. I have been holding off on buying a 24-70 until they come out with an IS version.
I have a rental lens on standby at Samy's in Pasadena, but that is going to be a major driving headache. Drive down to Pasadena and pick up Thursday and drive back; drive down and shoot Friday and drive home; Saturday drive back to Pasadena to drop off lens and return home; Sunday very early drive to LAX for a three weeks of military training.
Help!
If I break it - I'll buy it and my Mom says I'm trustworthy.
