Having just joined LPA via online registration I’m planning on attending the “Friday Night Discussion Group” at Denny's as my first event. I was wondering if people bring their camera gear to discussion groups or leave it at home. Looking forward to meeting some of you there.

We had a great group tonight. There were 12 of us there. Lee took a picture which I will include in the next newsletter. 1/2 the table was involved in one discussion and the other 1/2 another! Lots of discussion on my end of the table as to whether a higher end camera body is better or just invest in better glass. Hmm the consensus I believe was that one could have a less expensive camera body and put more into the glass and would get great photographs.

We showed Wes the AV Fair Winners gallery. Glenn will have to speak up regarding the discussion on his end of the table....
